No need for shooting. Just do what Israel has done for years and the DR are planning to do - plant land mines along the border with bold warnings and brightly colored flags. The first few trespassers who explode will send a clear message to the rest.

So ridiculous…this is why you don’t immigrate to a country this way. Who fed her on her journey from Ecuador? She must have passed through 6 countries on her way here, who took care of her? Completely destitute, yet picky and entitled! Her kid won’t eat cereal and pizza because she wants rice and soup?? You’ve got to be joking. You’ll eat anything when truly hungry..such bs. She probably conceived another child the minute she hit that hotel room.

They’d better not knock on my door, I have zero sympathy and would love to tell them so, en espanol.

The sad thing is these people are being used by our government to overwhelm and destabilize our country. They are total mindless pawns. If borders are so bad, why did we have them for millennia?

Uruguay, Chile, Argentina have better economies and government better than crossing 66 mile Darien cap which is jungle full of deadly animals like poisonous snakes, insects, rain, horrible conditions. El Salvador, Guatemala Honduras, Mexico you have pay cartels and deal with them. NYC is expensive city not enough affordable housing even for low income residents.

Even if the border states don’t send the buses, just through normal intra-U.S. migration alone, a lot will end up here on their own anyway because the jobs are here.

Throw in the generous government handouts/subsidies in liberal cities and it will always be a magnet for the illegals, the poor and homeless.

When it comes to border security it is on Every State to have a say and take responsibility for their decisions.

Every State should be considered a Border State as they have a say on the Country's Border policy.

Get ready for winter Adams. Your policies need a place to stay.

Glad to see so many people coming to reality, but my estimate is that only a few years ago the majority of you probably had an opposite opinion, it was probably one of compassionate bravado for your illegal amigos who just “want to work hard” and want to “do the work Americans won’t do”. Heck, most of you probably had a soft and low-information stance on illegal aliens until just a few months ago. Now you flipped your stance.

Talk about waiting until the problem has already festered to the point of being beyond repair.

Why don't all the rich lefties who keep voting for diversification and open borders, open up their 5 bedroom uptown apartments to these migrants?

Sounds like the humane thing to do.
