Agreed! They are here illegally which means they have no insurance and will often flee in a hit and run accident against pedestrians. They will have no legal recourse.

As far as I know, Uber and GrubHub ask for social security numbers before enrollment. And.. if it were the case where the illegals deliver food, you should be blaming restaurants who employ them - not the illegals themselves. You should also be blaming Biden and his administration - the ones you New Yorkers voted for out of your hatred of Trump.
Looking at actual data, the per capita income a few years ago for NYC was $41,625, and the median household income was $67,046. If two people earn say $50,000 a year, combined that's a $100,000 household.
Using my ex-girlfriend and I as am example, our combined income was easily double that and we both lived separately in our own places, but if you think that a $200,000+ household is "the norm" in NYC, you're sadly mistaken.

Yes, but still doesn't change what the salaries are. The high cost of living has always existed. It doesn't mean that salaries are super high. They aren't (overall) and never have been.

That is the problem. Minimum wage doesn't work. My salary will get a nice bumped. Food prices will all go up. Its a vicious cycle. Those who get left behind will be the true losers.
Here's what libs don't understand. Price controls on goods - let alone services - don't work. You cannot force people to pay extra for something they don't need. The laws of supply and demand will mean that prices will adjust accordingly.
Majority of those illegals you see running around they are working for somebody else who is the legal owner of the delivery account. So they are not making the real $$ they are getting a cut while the real acct owner is sitting in the office or somewhere making hourly rate.

$50,000 is more than what a number of New Yorkers earn. Why do you think so many people have roommates?
If you are in a relationship or have roommates, I guess that's not a bad salary. That was my point on another thread where I pointed out that single women seem to be participating more in affordable housing, as one doesn't need to have a roommate or be in a relationship to actually be able afford rent. But as a single undocumented migrant, that is not a good salary.

Actually for someone that is a migrant and uneducated, that is more than what some educated citizens make. lol
