Interesting information was posted in this topic about Human Resources abuse tactics. Very informative and so true!

Another purpose I can see as an even longer term purpose: they are going to use this law to twist up a new way to terminate American workers and ultimately bring illegal immigrants into their middle class New Yorker jobs.

The illegal immigrants already stoled around one million of the blue collar jobs in NYC and now they need to take more jobs that “Americans are too lazy to do”.

Does it matter? I've always worked at places where incompetent employees exist, even when they can and should be fired for good reason.

This form of labor policy already exists in government agencies. That’s why government workers are so entitled and lazy. Good luck with spreading that policy elsewhere and watch more companies pull out of NYC.

Here is more workforce related news from our nation that could be applicable to our fine city here as well:
https://mises.org/wire/jobs-boom-isn...sing-workforce

I wonder if any of those 6,000,000+ American men had their jobs replaced by you-know-who sneaking over our borders La Bamba style..?

Good! Suprised everyone is cutting throats for the man way up top, so he can wipe his butt with c notes while getting off his solid gold toilet bowl, then he rolls around on his california king size bed stuffed with c notes, etc.

Unless you are a HR professional or management, you wont be happy with this... power to the little people!

If you hire someone at slave wages, its only right to get stuck with them, until they are ready to leave the plantation.
Managers and HR pros are only contracted slaves aka uncle toms, that are bred to be anti employee!!!

And the CEO just loves to see the petty workforce , and how their livelyhoods can take a hit, on a whim.

So, cant feel bad for man up top...

I wonder if laying off workers because a company is moving out of the city because of over regulation and hostility to business would be considered a good reason?

The company I retired from and still work one day a week for started out in a storefront on Jamaica ave .

They were a small mom and pop business ..

As the company grew from the 8 employees , the taxes , unions in the city and headaches had them leave queens for Nassau county .

Today the company does 130 million a year in sales and has 320 employees…

The city lost out big time.

They pay 50k a month in real estate taxes to Nassau county alone

No one is forcing anyone to work there.
And you’re conflating small businesses with large corporations.
If I can’t fire the bad people, I can’t reward the good ones or even decide to hire anyone.
Good luck with your “power to the people” then when they don’t have jobs.
This is the kind of crap policies that happen in socialist countries that results in low wages and stagnant economies, which causes people to want to come to the US

Nonsense ..no employer knows the cream of the crop from an employee that is a poor fit when they hire them ..

That is just ridiculous to say an employer has to keep a poor fit or bad employee

The only people that will get low wages are the real American citizens. Many people have not yet fully noticed that the invaders salaries keep improving, not ours. There is a deliberate switcharoo in progress that many Americans are not yet seeing the full picture of, that our middle class salaries are just being transferred over to the invader class, along with all of our jobs of all levels.

There are countless products made in China for 2 cents that are being sold in America for $20.

There are invaders living in $500 per day hotel rooms for free in Times Square, while middle class New Yorkers pay $5,000 per month for an apartment.

There are some segments of Americans that are not safe at all, they are in genocide.
