The Real Word has been garbage since like, the 3rd season. I loved the first one in NYC, but it's just played out at this point. Unless they throw em in ENY.
How exactly is a bunch of young, single Midwesterners moving to a gentrified are of Brooklyn the real world exactly? What is real about this? The petty arguments about who is hogging the bathroom? The drunken fights by people who hardly drink and never fight? The odd and clumsy pseudo hookups between roommates that end in "devastation" and "I'll never talk to him/her again." Or the overdramatic me vs my parents on the phone crying fests....with all the other roomies feeling just terrible about everything she/he is going through?
Yeah...the real world alright. This will sink Brooklyn further into the playground of the whiny, boring, selfish, and purposeless.
Well they'll be about 3 blocks from the walt whitman and ingersoll projects if that counts for anything. (And pretty close to my high school)
