Overhead street signs

They may be a symbol of car culture, but I don't drive and I appreciate these signs for two reasons: a) they're easier to see from the bus! b) not always the case, but if I'm walking around in an area I'm not 100% familiar with, a street with an overhead signs is more likely to go all the way through to the next main street or two over than a street without one.
