My friend teaches grades 6-9th in Springfield gardens. She said there were rumors all over the school about gang initiation on Halloween. She said a lot of kids didn't come to school today because they were afraid of it. She came back on Monday and heard that 3 teenagers got shot in the local park, so mostly everyone in the school believes there was initiation on halloween.
I had a girlfriend from that neighborhood. A lot of bored kids over there who try to overcompensate in their quests to "keepz it real." There's no reason for that area to be bad.
I have been hearing several stories about the Wal-mart Gang initiation hoax, rumor or Urban Legend but first off let me tell you a few things I've came to know about gangs over the years gang members use to have male recruits either get jumped in (take a beating by some of the gangs members) or retaliate on a rival gang member and female recruits use to get gang banged by the members of the gang (meaning to sleep with some or all the male members) but those days are almost long gone male and female recruits have to prove that they will do anything for the gang meaning so with this in mind if you got a male that don't mind taking a beating and a female who don't mind spreading her legs but when it come down to fighting, shooting and killing or anything else they back down then they are useless to the gang . im 28 years old I've heard of plenty initiations tactics in Phoenix, Az where I live. I've heard of recurits doing robberies, driving down the streets with your headlghts off wating for someone to flash you so you can attack or kill them, and random acts of violence just to be initiated into a gang. I've heard of recruits retaliating on rival gang members or their family members, stabbing a pregnant woman, killing any random person while a fellow member is present to witness the action. These are all real gang activities going on today. I don't think it will be too long before some gang actually picks up on the Wal-Mart killings and fiction becomes reality. Wal-Mart is a 24 hours store that's offers criminals the opportunity to almost pull off any crime they want. next time your at Wal-mart at night look around the cameras are on the store but its dark in some places and its wouldnt be hard to avoid security which makes it a perfect place for night time violence. if you have any comments or know of any other gang rumors, hoaxs or urban legends email me at [email]official.psycho@yahoo.com[/email]
