Whitestone is a great neighborhood, but doesn't have much nightlife unlike nearby Bayside.

Just moved out of there after 2 years. Dont be fooled by the Exterior of the buildings. These buildings were poorly built. Floors & Walls are paper thin and you can hear every activities your upstair neighbors are doing. Apartments are cheap here, but maintenance bills are always high. There are always assessments as well. Also there are lot of restriction for apartment updates and renovation. Totally not worth it to buy here. My investments in other area of Queens are in much better shape.
