To be honest - There's no city in the world like New York!
The city has everthing - the people, skyline, food, culture, weather, beaches, location, buildings/scyscrapers, enterteiment, public transportation, clubs, restaurants, nightlife, daylife, plenty of things to do, shopping and much much more endless in this great city! NYC is also close to other cities, such as Casino-Mecca of Atlantic City, NJ, Boston, Philadelphia, Long Island etc. What else could you expect?
People who dislike NYC are just poor & jealous!

Wait a minute, just checked and I'm neither it turns out, I just don't think NYC is the "best". At least not for me and my family. This gets old real fast.
I always get embarassed when people from my city makes stupid threads like this. Haha.

Poor & Jealous??? This is just sad, NYC is such a great city (and may just be the best in the world) but it gets represented in such a poor manor. Everyone knows NYC is great but y'all throw it in everyone's face everyday and it looks like it isn't great.

Don't worry, most of us understand that this is just city-data and not real life...I've never met anyone like some of these people from some of these cities on here. Everybody I know from NYC is pretty normal, and they never talk about how great their city is - they thankfully let it speak for itself.
I mean, is there really any reason to crow about NYC when everybody knows it's a fabulous city?
It is a great city (one of many) in the world, but this is a prime reason why NY'ers get a bad rap....... and no, none of us are jealous ....... and no, none of us "wish we could afford it", ....... most of us are perfectly happy where we live and do not wish to live in NY
