No more RUNand DUMP or RUN and Dump after lunch. Unless you are a fool. Who wants longer routes. Follow the rules. I notices it's acatually less strain on the body. Because the routes in many districts right now can't be completed if we take breakes and follow traffic rules.
In 1990 we had around 11,000 sanitation workers. Currently we have around 5,500. The damage has been done. Nobody wanted to listen to what was happening and now people are worried. Run and dump, live for the moment districts should have followed the way of districts like Q8 (which is the only district to have GPS for over 3 years now) and a few others and just worked normal and protected the job. Now any changes to the way you work in the run and dump districts will just look like a job slow down and I honestly don't think those districts can do it. Good luck.
Why are so many people putting imformation that dont belong here on this board. Can you please stop it. We all work hard with or without gps it wont change anything.
What I'm saying is that we need to be unified, and work the way we were hired to work. If this is done by every San Worker, the job will take care of itself. Supervisors don't give a sh8t if u do both sides at once, jump over cars, don't take breaks, and run... just as long as you clean. Our breaks are an entitlement that was fought for! You don't just ignore that for the good of yourself.
