Ok so Hubby will be working in Montvale NJ...We can find nothing to rent that we like there, so we are now focused in on Rockland. We have seen one we like in Goshen, (Orange county)but if we can find something in Rockland that is even closer for us...

We really want somewhere cute and quaint, with good schools and a downtown, looked on line at Nyack, Piermont, new City...... anyone have any opinions about these areas, and out of all where would you choose?

Thanks so much, we have to move in a week....

B

Perhaps Suffern or Pearl River might work too. Personally I like Nyack, but any of those mentioned should be fine.

I'd start with Nyack, Pearl River, and Stony Point (further north)....

Nyack and Piermont have a nice downtown and good schools. Probably most expensive to rent there (hah- where in Rockland isn't?), but you have a lot of options, depending on what you're looking for.

New City- expensive.

Pearl River is very close to Montvale. It's a nice town- very Irish.

Suffern is good too.

Stony Point is probably cheaper, further away. Not much going on there, but it's a pretty town.

Saw on the other thread you lost the Goshen house & sorry to hear that! I hope you find something quick- you should be able to.
