So far I like putnam valley , but it need drive to Peekskill rail road station which take 20-30 minutes plus one hour train to get Grand central. This is my concern. I will keep this place on my list, and want to contact local agent to start it. Do I have better options?
This is probably your best option especially if you need to be in NYC only 2x per week.
I drove to putnam valley a week later after have this information, neighbor by the lake who was very nice but gave me a lot of negative things. Oil heat, pay extra for school, no police station but pay extra fee for security.etc.... Drove around, people are very friendly. I did not get feeling to that place, up and down hill, house are old. Look like people not living there year round. Don't see taking care well. finally got out there. It could be I went to wrong section, but I think it is too far for me. I was glad I went.
