No where near...

Hochul has no juice, she's been rolled twice by leaders of both houses in state legislators in first months of office. First they canned her first choice for chief judge, now it appears her budget proposals including forcing suburbs to build affordable housing is going down in smoke.

Say what you like but Cuomo knew how to deal with leaders of assembly and senate; he usually got what he wanted or most of it; or else. That's why they cooked up that harassment nonsense, to get rid of Il Duce.

If this is best Hochul can do she's going to have a tough next three years.

Oh and remember Andrew Cuomo won all his elections with pretty substantial margins, that gave him a mandate. Hochul would have lost if top democrats in Washingtion, D.C. didn't send big guns to NY and especially NYC to get voters out for Hochul. Her squeaker win means Hochul doesn't have a mandate if you will and Stewart along with Heastie know it.
