It would have been interesting if Nissan mass produced the 200SX car in roadster or convertible format as shown in this video, instead of through a conversion. Video is 1983, one model year prior to the MotorWeek review.
What happened Nissan? Only sport coupes are 370Z and GTR. Sentra only has one power train, one of the slowest of all compact sedans. No higher power engine available like in years past. Nissan Altima V6 has the performance but no sporting soul and excitement. It's styling is even more dull than a Camry.
What a great car! My father had one and it is the car I drove before I before I had my own. It was the car I perfected driving a stick shift on. My favorite part was the digital dash (at the time). He sold the car with over 200K on it and it still drove and looked brand new.
