This thread was inspired by the "Is it ok to not have many friends?" thread.
I was just wondering how many friends most people have. I've included a poll.
For purposes of simplification, a "friend" is defined as someone you could stand to be around for at least 4 hours if was just you and the other person and no one else and someone you've shared at least a few of your feelings with (in other words, you don't spend all your time talking about other people's gossip or sports).
I too was going to vote seven, but then I'm afraid if I do le roi will want to be my friend and then I'd appear shallow having made eight friends. Then again, we're already friends here on CD, so I can't risk losing him as a friend or I'll be branded a loser. In a pickle once a again...
I like a small circle of friends...the 4 of us and our spouses makes for a helluva weekend barbeque and football Sunday...plus it evens up the horseshoe games we have....talking chit and drinking beers....all good
