Don't be so naive as to EVER tell anyone something personal. 95% of people can never keep their mouths shut, and if you're referring to colleagued, bump that up to 99%.

When my oldest started elementary I was excited to become part of the school PTA. I thought it's a good organization filled with people doing something really good for the kids. Boy was I wrong. The amount of gossip that went on was very disturbing to me, and I bet most of it was not true.
I'm glad I'm not part of it anymore.
