Anyone in their 20s or 30s do not have any friends

I don't think it's that common to have no friends at all during your 20s and 30s.

I had acquaintances that I spoke to at school. But that was it. Nobody really had any connection to me, or cared to form a friendship. So, I became quiet, then later shy, and kept to myself and did things that entertained me that I didn't need other people for.

Closest thing to a friend I have is my parents + pets. But my thing is being very shy and sensitive. So, social interaction that isn't professional isn't a strong point for me. Never really was.

I have one good friend I talk too often (lives in another state) . I find it very difficult to make friends at my age (20s) because I'm just not into what most people my age are into its like they're all clones of each other. Also life isn't quite how I planned so there's the whole shame thing. I want friends but at the same time I don't if that makes any sense.
