Someone at work mistakes a situation and reacts rudely. Like: the secretary threw out an old lunch boxes and food from the back of the fridge. But that person somehow thinks I removed their lunch box, and makes a threatening comment out of the blue. But the secretary said would toss everything from the fridge that was unmarked by Monday afternoon. It was in the all-staff e-mail notice. Another co-worker jumps in to confirm it. Instead of apologizing, that person simply decides in their mind that I'm awful. To this day this person continues to treat me as such. That person was looking for a reason to dislike me in the first place.
