From April thru October, I'm out on the lake in my small boat, fishing.

The rest of the time, I'm rarely alone - holidays, snow removal, grandkids, whatever.

Reading, writing, doing research, hiking, going on vacations, gardening, cooking, cleaning... that's all I can think of for now.

I used to spend most of my time alone before I met my fiancé and enjoyed it a lot. Last October was the first time in a while that I went on vacation with anyone; it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be since after vacationing so much by myself, I found out much to my surprise that I liked it better than the ones I remember taking before when I was in a relationship. Since he's working now though and don't take off work to go on vacations I'll most likely return to going on them by myself again.

I'm not Blazer, but I also walk alone (well, walk with my dog...).

I prefer walking alone (with dog).

If I am walking with someone, they either walk too slow or too fast. Or they don't want to take the longer routes I'm used to taking (around 5 miles usually).

When I walk alone, I can go where I want, and at the pace I want. I either get lost in thought (and often come up with my best ideas while walking), or I listen to music to keep my pace on track.

Most of the same things I may do with my partner and/or friends: Watch movies, play with my dog, travel, go for a run, go out to lunch or dinner, shop, walk around the city, go see a band, work out, cook...

Things I enjoy doing alone: Surfing the internet, driving the tractor, cutting firewood, doing yard work, fishing, hunting, writing.

Things I enjoy doing with other people: Making music, traveling, attending science fiction conventions, cookouts, trap shooting, parties, going to movies, going out to eat, or just talking.

LOL. My husband used to travel 2 weeks out of the month, and I guess I should be smashed that I miss that. It has nothing to to with him or my love for him, I just really like alone time.
