Now I'm all concerned about the motives of the man who walks around our neighborhood every day and moves my trash can back up to my fence on trash days. I have never asked him to do this and I can do it myself so WHY, WHY is he doing it?????? WHAT IF HE GETS HURT ON MY PROPERTY? WHAT IF HE GETS GRAVEL ON MY DRIVEWAY???? WHY DOES HE INSIST ON DOING THIS??????
Maybe Ted is thankful to have the driveway cleared. You could probably avoid this by getting out there and shoveling when it needs it instead of hiding in the house wondering what's going on out there.

Oh, it could be worse than a crush going by his inappropriate behavior. It could be something very dangerous.
A lot of neighbors do that. And OP clarified that she didn’t actually tell him before not to ever do it, she realized she said something like “you don’t have to bother”. Now that she did ask him not to I’m sure he won’t. What a lot of drama over nothing.
My 2 posts have convinced you I'm "determined?" Because sometimes I am in utter disbelief at the things people will start threads about. This person created a thread about something that she wasn't even sure was happening because she hadn't even bothered to go look outside. This kind of thing is just stunning to me.

Seems like she told him a few times. Post #52 says a lot too. You can't let those "stalking tendencies" get any further.
