It used to be eastland back in the day. Its a shame the local thugs and gangsters ruined it and now its gone

Definitely SouthPark! There's hardly anything special about the rest, and SouthPark is the most attractive. It also has the nicest, best, and largest stores. Also, it makes the most money with over $700 per square foot. Asheville Mall is around $320, and Hanes Mall is obviously way too big with only $290.
SouthPoint is nice, but doesn't hold a candle to SouthPark.
Asheville is really nice for Asheville and I'm definitely thankful for it to be so close, but it isn't special compared to SouthPark.

I agree with you on Eastland Mall. That was actually the premier shopping mall in Charlotte until about the mid to late 80's,,,it was still holding it's own until the late 90's and then just snowballed down hill. What a shame!
I went to Southepint for the firt time last weekend. It's nice, but the only way I can see it getting as amny votes as it has is b/c it's everyone's second choice. The problem may be my own, where it reminded me of some malls around Richmond ans San Diego but not as good. I don't think the selection topped Crabtree either. It is a better location and a a lot less crowded than Crabtree, even now during the holidays.
