Hello, everyone this is mohoganymiss moving from CT to NC not sure yet, I have four boys ages 2-16. My 11 yr old has austism? learning disabilities. i need to know which area has great schools for him? I also need to know which area is good area to start a business? please give me some feed back?
I have lived in both the triad and the triangle, but I cannot really answer your questions, you need to give a bit more information.
First do you mean Raleigh and Greensboro specifically, or do you mean the Triangle and Triad areas generally?
Second each area is going to have a variety of schools ranging the gambit from excellent to awful. So you need to be more specific about particular areas.
Third I am not sure what you mean by "start a business" the areas you speak of are somewhat different in terms of their economies so it might help to know what you have in mind.
I would also recommend browsing around the forum, chances are many of your questions have been addressed multiple times.
Starting a business would depend on the market for whatever it is that your business will do.
What is it about Raleigh and Greensboro that has made you narrow it down to them, yet you don't seem to know much about them? How do you know those two cities are the best for you?
The Wake County (Raleigh) schools are in a great state of flux right now; you can search the forum for "wake county schools" or "WCPSS" to find lots of threads about it. I don't know about Guilford county. Best schools in NC, if you're determined that it has to be NC, are in Chapel Hill/Carrboro.
