What if i were to switch and go to Medical school?
We really can't give you academic counseling; if you wanted to switch from Comp Sci to preMed, you could always switch schools. "What if" you wanted to switch to pre-Law, or Music, or Business? So much changes about a person's goal when they are in college, you really can't let "What-ifs" plague you.
If you are so up in the air that you really don't have a specific goal, you might pick a school with a good reputation that would transfer easily if you decide to switch paths into something completely different.
I don't think Winston-Salem State has a particularly glowing reputation. I would choose either UNC-Charlotte or NCSU, leaning toward NCSU if you are pretty sure about the computer field. You could always transfer later, and most people take pretty much the same stuff their first 1-2 years anyway.
Grades will definitely be more of a concern if you're looking to get into Med School than if you are going to work in tech (not that you can get bad grades, but in the IT world, experience is so so so much more important than grades).

I would suggest you make contacts with people who are practicing now.. NOT medical students or residents. Ask them their candid opinions on the future of the field in light of all the changes that are taking place. The free flowing Medicare/aid dollars of the 1980's - early 90's are long gone. Perhaps the same could be said of the tech industry but at least you only need an undergraduate degree.

Not "pre med" i'm thinking of Ph.D MD clinical/medical doctors, sounds pretty interesting. It wouldn't make much of a difference since i can turn computer science into my minor and my major can be in Medical. Then i would end up as a medical doctor and a masters in Computer Science which both degrees go great together. I could then make cool devices such as the next great thing to cure cancer, and other diseases. I'll already know the medical business and know how to create programs.

yeah, i'm going to try UNC Chapel Hill. I haven't tried it. School is good for both subjects.
Why not look into biomedical engineering? Don't make these decisions lightly. These are very, very tough programs. You want to go to med school? Make excellent grades as an undergrad and apply to UNC or ECU. You want to be a biomedical engineer? Skip the MD and PhD and just get your MS.

You may want to do additional research into the educational requirements for becoming an M.D.

I was going to say the same thing.
Jimmy sounds like a very eager young guy with a promising future no doubt. I hate to be cynical but the idea of "being pre-med major with a minor in computer science so that I can have a Ph.D/MD/Masters in Computer Science so I can create the machine that cures cancer" is just a little overly ambitious for a high school senior right now; but something to work towards an think about. An MD degree takes 8 years itself, not including residency; and a Ph.D in computer science would probably take just as long if not longer. Doing both at the same time? Not sure that is possible at any university in this state.
My suggestion to you Jimmy is that you pick a school that you will enjoy and that has a good reputation. NC State has the best programs and best reputation of the schools to which you have been accepted. UNC has a better academic reputation (and hey, I went there and loved every minute of it!) but you would have to wait until next Fall to apply. And your chances would be better if you went to another school for a year and then applied to transfer.

Academic reputation of UNC vs NC State? It depends on the major you select.
I hope the can of worms has not been opened!
