I was looking for the good forum for NC information and I am so lucky to find this forum. I am moving to Gastonia sometime end of this year from Canada and would need the following information :

1. Which is a good apartment building/town house for renting?
2. Which is a good company for internet services in this area?
3. Which is a good company for phone services in this area?
4. How is the medical/healthcare facility in this area?
5. Which company is good for auto insurance and life insurance?
6. What is the best place to buy an used car?
7. Which is a good place to buy used furniture/new furniture?
8. Any good place for children's activities?

I know I have asked several silly questions however I need to know about this as I don't know any thing about this area and I am a pretty new to USA as well as I am moving from Canada.

Any of your suggestion/help would be highly appreciated.

3. Cingular for GSM mobile phone service
5. Progressive, Esurance, and Geico all have online service/quotes for auto insurance
6. Auto Trader, they put out a local magazine available at most gas stations, and also have a website
7. Take a drive to Hickory, NC for furniture
