Thank you!! and Mt7, thanks for posting this originally, and letting us know. Coldstream04, Thank you!! Please re-post if you can on other media. So sad, this area is over run with strangers because of the oil boom. This is a tragic situation for this really small town. Thanks again,

BILLINGS - Authorities in Eastern Montana say they have recovered a shoe belonging to missing Sidney teacher Sherry Arnold. She was last seen around 6:30 am jogging in the town.
Hundreds of people, including authorities from all over Richland County, spent Saturday searching for a Sidney High School math teacher who went missing Saturday morning.
Elkhunter Thank you for keeping us updated. It is a true blessing that small towns like Sidney don't wait the 24hr standard for missing persons like big cities do in other states. I am sure not liking what I read, no sightings and a "found" shoe. My prayers are ongoing for this poor Lady and her loved ones. In a town that small the poor teens, and kids that have had Mrs. Arnold for a teacher are most likely suffering a lot. Thanks for the ongoing updates.

You're welcome. It's funny you mentioned the fact that they didn't wait 24 hours. They did. But it's strange how they did it. If you read through each of the news releases, the locals organized a search and went at it, immediately (well, a few hours after she didn't return). But, this morning, after 24 hours of being missing, they were able to bring in Law Enforcement Helocopters and planes. Yesterday, they searched for a person that hadn't returned. This morning, it was switched to an official "Missing Person Investigation." I believe they even had a dog yesterday, but today, they had several dog teams. Over 1000 people showed up to help search, but they sent 700 of them away because it was just too big of a crowd and they couldn't organize with that many people.
