I know that people are asking for new fall photos of our Pocono area.
Today I went to the Jack Frost Craft show........Here is some photos from along the way. Yes! It is fall in the Poconos!

The Fountain at the Jack Frost Golf Course

The gardens at the Club House.......High on the mountain plateau.

The entrance to Jack Frost....

Heading home after a beautiful visit to Jack Frost. It got to 70 degrees today, so a most perfect day for a fall drive.

Thanks for posting. We're currently living in northern Illinois, and we have nothing like that here. Sometimes we travel up to Lake Geneva, WI to see fall colors. Originally from the Lehigh Valley (husband from E. Stroudsburg). We do miss home, especially at this time of year. Thanks again!

Nice pics.

I spent a few hours very early this morning in the gamelands about 3 miles west of the Jack Frost entrance trying to a get a shot at Mr. Wiley E Coyote..
Pretty cool having a bunch of yotes howling/yipping around you at the break of dawn. Called a few in close, but they played me for the fool today. Gotta respect a super intelligent animal like that.

Nevertheless, it was a gorgeous autumn day in beautiful NEPA. I'd guess the foliage is about 70% in the higher elevations, still a few pockets of green. Next weekend should be full bloom of colors.

Was lucky to find/harvest a couple of very nice sheepshead mushrooms on the walk out to the truck. Good thing I carry a few plastic garbage bags in my pack - I needed them.

I took most of the pictures Sheena from the car...........Thats the way it is with hubby flying by some beautiful fall areas........LOL
Once in awhile I get him to stop so I can hang the camera out the window.......

Math........LOL.........I'm always here lurkin' around. I've had to divide my time between three sports this fall. Football in NJ, Soccer in PA, and Hockey in NY.

Varmit.......I did see a red fox last year on the Jack Frost golf course............and then there is the
black "whatever" with a long, long, tail and pointed ears that still haunts our outside gatherings at home. Because is it safe or not safe?........

Bennet............so nice to give you a little bit of our smashing fall in the Poconos......Awesome colors right about now.

I was in nepa this weekend. My kids are so fed up with hearing turn off the tv and look out at the beautiful colors.
Dh and I took a short ride on his bike(with sidecar) thru the community and did manage to take some great photos. Once I can get them onto this puter, i will be more than happy to share them.

The colors were amazing.

But...........I bet you don't have whatever crossed our yard on Christmas night........Thats a once in a lifetime sighting.
