Never stooped in but we did today. First, this place is not inexpensive.
I terms of cutting edge style I highly recommend it.
There was a piece that I really liked bit it was reduced to over one thousand.
Perhaps they take layaway ???

I would never shop there again! Prior to moving to Virginia in early-2009 I stopped in to do some browsing to see what their offerings were for my future apartment. An older woman there pretty much "clung" to me aggressively and had the nerve to say "I don't think we'll have anything here you can afford". Excuse me? A store in Exeter got my business instead.

Kind of an odd location for a high end furniture store....its closer to where most people are probably getting their furniture from Rent-A-Center.

We bought a few pieces from them and I have visited many many times. They have 3 floors of furniture to view as well as a bargain basement. I have never had a bad customer service issue with them and found them very helpful and willing to work with you. iI think they have a good range in price for their furniture, but it better quality than what you find at the chain stores. As a matter of fact, the items we bought were from the basement so the it was not a matter of how much money we spent. I like patronizing family owned stores over the superstores.

An older lady did kind of cling to us in an annoying way. I had to tell her that we were browsing several times.
It was pricey but they did have some nice pieces.
It was unexpectedly nice for a rather pedestrian area.

I like Ashley Furniture at any one of the Country Junctions. Quality, stylish furniture at reasonable prices. With no clingy sales people.

Flip an Ashley sofa over, and look at the frame. Plywood...

True, but if you want solid hardwoods expect to pay 3 X more.

Besides, flip some over from IKEA and you won't even find that ... more likely cardboard and/or particle board.

We bought our dining room table from Ashley. Not cardboard or plywood.

I know several people who have bought from Bell's and recommend them highly. Maybe it's just that one bad sales lady?

Well, what would it say about you if you bought a cardboard or plywood table and assumed it was something else? I mentioned the hidden framing of upholstered furniture.
