I was looking on-line to see if there was something about a protest, but all I found was a link back to this thread! Was there anything in the paper? Even an editorial?

I'm fairly certain that 5 or less people protesting is not going to make the news.

That said, I live less than 2 miles from the Armory and have driven past it during at least 3 performances. I have yet to see anyone holding signs. I see the two police cars there to direct traffic, but no protesters.

Slightly off topic. I find it funny that the armory is in WB city limits, but the streets to it are in Kingston. So Kingston police are directing traffic to a WB event.

Here's the newspaper article:

Tbt there were way more than "five people".Also, people stopped by to pick up literature and so many were supportive and horrified.

Pretty hypocritical for one who is far from perfect to make cracks about someone's body size, when your grasp of the English language isn't the greatest.

"Must of???????"

Try "must have." You "should of" paid attention in 4th grade English class.

I was under the impression that you Lehigh Valley natives were intellectually superior to us coal-crackin' hillbillies from NEPA.

Where is her truthiness, I don't see it? It's her version of the "truth". But this is off-topic. How are the protests going in WB?

Hmm, not sure hypocritical is correct, since i'm not a fatty. But if you say so.

I will be the first to admit that my grammar leaves much to be desired. My wife is the edumacated one.

But why so sensitive? Do you or a close family member have something in common with some of the circus animals?

Which makes me wonder do overweight circus animals get diabetes?

If you gauge the success of a protest by the mass of its participants, it is right up there with the million man march.

I figured as much. They may have all the good intent in the world, but it will not stop the circus. Good that they are standing up for a cause, but they don't have the numbers and there is indeed strength in numbers.
