Knoebels seems like a perfect place for this...hopefully I'm off whenever it is...hard to get weekends off at my job cuz everyone wants the weekend off also...but with enough advance notice I might be able to switch with someone...

Knoebels could be a great location for a get together. But the father out you move the location; the fewer people you will get to attend. Just a thought.

Looks like only a few are interested ..

I did find a nice spot on Lake Wallenpaupack Right near the Welcome center on Rt 6... . Wilsonville rec area ..

Here is a list of potential locations from what has been proposed:

Tobyhanna State Park

Gouldsboro State Park

Knoebels

Wallenpaupack Right near the Welcome center

A maul courtyard someplace.

We should add maybe a few more and then have a vote. It sounds as if most, that want to attend, would come from the W-B/Scranton area - however; we do have a few from down in Monroe.

It is a pretty good drive from Scranton or the Stroudsburg area. Here is a link: http://www.knoebels.com/ It is close to Shamokin and Danville.

Its a great place .. Its FREE too.. My kids love it there .. We go a few times every year .. sometimes bring the motorhome and make a weekend of it ... ( they have campgrounds and allow dogs too .. But it is a decent ride .. prob too far for most ...
