Default Construction by N Main St & Keyser Creek in Taylor

Anyone know what's going on? There's been a lot of construction equipment near where Keyser Creek crosses N Main St. It looks like they're prepping a sizable swath of land for some sort of development. (Probably a suburban-style subdivision or a strip mall.)

Are you talking about the supposed new Wal-Mart on the site of the old Taylor shopping center across from Price Chopper?

No, not up there. Down the hill from there, past Oak St., and on the right near the center of Taylor. Around here:

They're developing the land for homes and , supposedly, retail also. WNEP ran something about it about a month ago or so.
They're clearing & adding drainage, etc.
They've also been tearing up everything to expand the size of the water lines in Taylor. I guess there were problems with a lack of pressure in the hydrants & all the new construction will only aggrevate the problem.

If I'm not mistaking, isn't that also where the bypass is going to be when they rebuild the Main Avenue bridge?
