If baby boomers stay in suburbia, analysts predict cultural shift - The Washington Post

Summary: old folks will change suburbia, including Fairfax.

*This is a line from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" which dealt with the comedic-medieval solution to old folks.

"Actually, I'm feeling much better!"

(I'm glad we're amusing each other, as we seem to be alone here.)

So then why am I seeing a lot more kids and their post-boomer parents in my neighborhood now? Most of the original residents were or are older than boomers while the ones they're selling to (or handing down to) are younger than boomers. I'm not so sure there were or are as many boomers here as some may think.

You're amusing me too; my brain's just too tired to play.

That's an interesting question. I certainly see a lot more families in many parts of NoVA that used to have seemingly older populations.

Any thoughts?

The title is misleading as I thought I'd get to dispatch some Zombies post-haste... What a let down.

I too have to chime in on the increase of younger people in my neighborhood.

"I feel happy"
