I am in the ATL, and we have had record levels of pollen (8000 count). Schools are creating special recess room for allergy sufferers. Temperatures are trending upwards, and while it is pleasant at this point, I am dreading the summer.

Is the news media already reporting on pollen and such, in your area?

Temperature-wise, looks like you are doing alright. That is, you are not approaching high temeperatures yet. And will be having a true spring. (I see you are even having a freeze warning!) What is your opinion?

Pollen counts starting rising (early) here in late-February. At least in March they've been reporting almost everyday and the tree pollen is excessive for this time of year. We will have an earlier/longer allery season this year.

This IS pollen time....generally, it lessens as the trees leaf out....it doesn't last all summer!

I like short, warm winters and early springs....not a fan of cold weather AT ALL....Go, global warming...I'm all for it!

I just feel sorry for folks who went out and bought plants last weekend....it may be warmer than usual, but it's still not time to plant ornamental flowers!!!
