Does anyone know the hunting laws regarding hunting in residential neighborhoods? We have a 15 acre undeveloped plot of land in our neighborhood that one of our neighbors hunts on. Really scary because another neighbor found one of his arrows in their backyard. I know for a fact he does not have permission from the landowner (a developer). There are no "no trespassing" or "no hunting" signs posted and he is always in camouflage, never in blaze orange. He bow hunts. Thoughts?

r

Have you checked your HOA covenants to see if perhaps its prohibited by your community? If not, you might want to get something going with your neighbors to do that.

It's private land posted with no trespassing and no hunting signs. He should not be hunting there (or doing anything on that piece of land). He is trespassing. The owner of the land should contact the police and report him for trespassing the next time he's out there.
