Oh it can snow here. LOL Just google "Snowpacalypse 2010" or "Snowmageddon 2010".
But seriously: in normal times, up to six inches is considered normal to mildly annoying. Anything over that is a bit unusual and grounds for closing the schools. If it approaches one foot, the federal government is likely to close except for "essential" staff.

I don't know the demos off hand - although you can go to city-data.com and plug in the name of any town for more specifics - but I like to call this area "the United Nations". You will not lack for finding Indian culture, dining etc. though I don't think there is any community that is distinctly Indian.
