A MISSING GREYHOUND!!!! Please help us find our Sookie! Sookie has been missing since August.
There have been several sightings confirmed by a tracking team. The recent one was just south of Aquia Harbour Saturday, November 2nd. It appears that someone was keeping her for a while but somehow she got loose. She seems to be wearing a metal choke collar and have put on some weight. It's also a possibility that someone has gained her trust and taken her in again. If you live or work in the area, please keep your eyes open for her. If she is still running loose, it’s cold and she may come looking for a shelter. Please open your gate or garage (or even home) for her and call us right away. She is shy but sweet. She is not a mean dog.
Sookie is very shy. If you walk after her, she will probably run away from you.
Please remember not to chase her! (You can try getting low to the ground, avoiding eye contact and talking calmly. Yes, we posted it under Lost & Found on Craigslist on December 4th. Titled "Please HELP Us Bring Sookie Home For Christmas". We are hoping Sookie has been picked up by someone again and staying nice and warm. Please keep your eyes open for a black Greyhound with white chest and white feet, either running loose or with someone. If you see her, please contact us immediately and we will follow up.

There have been several sightings confirmed by a tracking team. The recent one was just south of Aquia Harbour Saturday, November 2nd. It appears that someone was keeping her for a while but somehow she got loose. She seems to be wearing a metal choke collar and have put on some weight. It's also a possibility that someone has gained her trust and taken her in again. If you live or work in the area, please keep your eyes open for her. If she is still running loose, it’s cold and she may come looking for a shelter. Please open your gate or garage (or even home) for her and call us right away. She is shy but sweet. She is not a mean dog. Sookie is very shy. If you walk after her, she will probably run away from you. Please remember not to chase her! (You can try getting low to the ground, avoiding eye contact and talking calmly.
