Communities with less then an hour (rush hour) commute time to Falls Church

For people making recommendations to the OP, notice that she said her husband will be working at INOVA in Falls Church which I assume is Fairfax Hospital, which, while technically has a Falls Church address it is off Gallows Road and Route 50 in what I consider to be "Fairfax." In any case, regardless of what it's called, if you are just going by the title of the thread, some of us might be making suggestions different than if going by the details of her first post. There is no way that a trip from Loudoun to Fairfax Hospital is 30 minutes, and I don't want the OP to be misled.

OP, can you clarify where exactly your husband will be working?

Considering that I do Loudoun to Rockville in an hour, at 6:30 am, I would think 30 to 45 minutes is indeed possible to INOVA Hospital.

Well that is a good point there, as it would likely add some time to work your way off of the toll road and beltway into the area. That can add a few minutest to the drive, no argument. Guess I've grown used to living 1.25 miles from the greenway with an office that fronts the beltway in tysons corner.
