Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the great furniture store recommendations! I was wondering if anyone here had ever bought any furniture from Costco.com? They have some good prices online and even with shipping and delivery they seem affordable.

But how is the quality and service? Please share any good or bad experiences!!

Thanks

Everything I've heard about Costco furniture is that it's good. Ikea is cheap and cheap quality, but Costco is more expensive, not the most expensive, and very good quality.

I know people who bought furniture from Costco. They had to place and order like any other furniture store. The furniture is good quality. They are pleased with their purchase.

I have a sofa, chair and ottoman I got from Costco 2 years ago. Cost was great, we ordered it at the warehouse and it was delivered from the factory about 4 weeks later. We were able to pick the fabrics. I think they quality is great for the money. We thought we were really purchasing "disposable" furniture, for the price (I think the sofa was $500-$600 and the chair/ ottoman about $300-$400). We have a dog who LOVES to be on the couch and a young child who contributes to the demise of our furniture in his own way. And the costco furniture has held up great. It looks like new. I would definitely buy more furniture from them. I can't remember the manufacturer name, though. Hope this helps.

We also bought a living room sofa set- it really was a great deal- service was great- and technically- if a spring spouted out in 10 years, we could go back and return it (just emphasizing the strong policy that they have)! But - the sofa sectional has been great..

There was a recent thread here discussing furniture store preferences. It's good to know that Costco may be able to hang with the RoomStores and Value City's of the world, not to mention outlast Ikea.

Roomstore is disposable junk. If you want real furniture then go to Greenfront in Sterling.

Thank you for your responses! A friend of mine just said that he bought his children's bedroom furniture from Costco and loved the quality.

Has anyone here tried Gallahans on Hwy 95??

Thanks!

The real Greenfront in Farmville is much better but this one is great if you can not get to Farmville.

Oh wow I just looked at their web site! Can't wait to check that place out, I was eyeing on a Restoration Hardware living room set but am definitely going to check this place out first. Thanks!
