Korean Grocery stores in Alexandria (Arlington, Annandale: condos, townhomes, live in)

Hi, My job is moving me to Alexandria (outside the beltway Zip 22310). We are looking for a SFH (no townhomes/condos) close to the Walker Ln in Alexandria. Anyone know if there are any Korean Grocery stores close by? Close to Ft Belvoir would work as well. Thanks in advance.

I'm not very familiar with that part of Alexandria, I'm assuming since your zip is outside the beltway it is out of Alexandria proper, I will let people who know that part of town well comment further but from my experience city is very diverse, a Korean grocer can't be too far away. I do know the Annandale area which is about five to ten minutes from the southern parts of Alexandria is FULL of Korean everything. Most of the signs in the shopping malls are in Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc. (they call it Asiadale for a reason). Hope this helps..

The OP is referring to the Kingstowne/Manchester Lakes/Franconia area. I don't know of any Korean stores in the area (there was one in the Landsdowne shopping center that just closed down) but maybe now that the location is narrowed down someone else knows of one. (Central Springfield, perhaps?)

Super H Mart and Lotte Plaza are probably worth the drive...big selection at both places.

H Mart in Falls Church is where it's at...super fresh veggies at super cheap prices.

I live in Kingstowne and am Korean-American; there are no close stores around the 22310-22315 area. We usually go to Grand-Mart, H-Mart, Lotte, or other stores farther away all across Fairfax County. The El_Grande in Central Springfield is close but only an occasional place to go for me because their products are lower in quality in my opinion than Grand Mart or H Mart. linux_n_Pontiac basically nailed it.
