Commuting from Great Falls to Rockville Town Square (Leesburg: house, price)

Hi everyone. My family is looking to relocate to the Great Falls area from Silver Spring. I work in Rockville. I've been monitoring google maps traffic for the past few weeks and it looks like the commute will be anywhere from 35-60 minutes each way every day. Does that sound right? Is it more likely to be on the high end? My normal working hours are on average 9-6.

Areas of Great Falls in our price point (under $900K) that we're looking at are around Locust Hill Drive off of Leesburg Pike and up near the Georgetown Pike and Walker Road intersection. I'd like to be closer to the beltway and the MD border, but those areas tend to be out of our price point, right? At least for a 2,000+ sq foot house with a 2 car garage in decent shape.

Any insight or other information is appreciated. I found some similar commuting questions in prior messages but they seemed outdated by now.

It will be closer to 60 minutes in the morning, and maybe a little more in the afternoon.
