Asking for a friend traveling in October. Her airline requires a pcr test not more than 48 hours. The sociological test can be outside 48 hours.

Anyone know a local Arlington facility that meets that requirement?

Thank you!

Medical Access urgent care does a rapid test and you get the results in an hour or so. I got it done at their Kingstowne location a few Saturdays ago. They only have a certain number of tests per day, so, as instructed, I was in line at 6:30 am. They opened at 8:00, took my contact info, and told me to go sit in my car for two hours until they called me. They came outside two hours later, did the nose swab (not a deep one -- not uncomfortable at all) and I had the results an hour or so later. All in all, it was worth it.

I'll be curious to know if she can even get tested for that reason.

I tried to schedule a test but didn't pass the screening to qualify for one - I had not (knowingly) been exposed to someone who tested positive, was not exhibiting symptoms, nor am I a healthcare provider.

www.washingtontravelclinic.com. 400$ for the guaranteed results in 48 hours. Lebanese doctor, excellent.

I found that request peculiar, too. The airline's website has this requirement without really knowing if the community can support the demand.

Well - there are many destinations that require certain things - but the entire airline for all passengers?

Is there a link for this?

Honestly, I don't find the requirement peculiar. If a traveler cannot get tested, they simply can't fly that airline or to that destination.

What is the name of the airline?

No airline (USA) is dealing with that policy right now, at least not that I could find. Link?

Plenty of destinations do though - that's entirely different. The destinations do not care about airline profits.
