We're moving to Herndon/Reston in December and would like to furnish an apartment we are renting as cheaply as possibly, but with new furniture.

Can anyone suggest a good store?

Value City Furniture in Arlington - Reasonable prices, good seasonal deals, comfy furniture
Ikea in Woodbridge - Cheap, I'm not sure about the comfy factor though.

We bought from Value City and loved it.

Value City is the real deal. We bought our furniture there 6 years ago and it's holding up great. Definitely recommend it.

We just bought an entertainment center from Havertys - not fancy but not cheap either - it is hard to find a middle of the road store - everything is either way to expensive or way too tacky.

I was scared to try Value City because I saw so many bad reviews about them on-line.

Marlo is not bad.
