Thanks.
I think everyone is referring to the Clyde's in Broadlands called Willow Creek Farm. Here's their website: Clyde's Restaurant Group :: Restaurants:: Willow_Creek_Farm (http://www.clydes.com/main/RestaurantsDetail.cfm?Restaurant=Willow_Creek_Farm &Section=Main - broken link)

The Restaurant Building is apparently constructed from antique timbers that the Clyde's group saved from old 1700-1800's buildings that were going to be demolished, they saved the lumber and timbers and built the Willow Creek location with it.

Clyde's is a pretty consistent local chain in the region. They're all just a little bit different, but consistently have good food and entrees.

I'm just mad that the Broadlands location took their pork belly appetizer off the menu, I loved that!

Thanks so much. I took a look at the menu and it definitely looks like we will be making a trip to Willow Creek Farm.

Clydes is fantastic. I'm not sure if anyone has suggested "not your average Joe's" in Ashburn/Leesburg Belmont Ridge area of the county yet but thats one of my favorites.

well I must announce that I finally found a good German restaurant - wahooo! Of course it's not actually in Virginia...we went to the Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown, WV last night. It was awesome and absolutely gorgeous!! 'Course it did cost a fortune for our 5 person party....but the beer was awesome!

Highly recommend for anyone seeking a little Oktoberfest

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet...but my lady and I decided to take a drive out to Purcellville and tried a place called, well, Mom's Place. The best way for me to describe is Americana with a bit of a modern twist. They also apparently have a weekly Greek night. It was a great value for the amount of food offered; in fact, we ended up having to take a couple "doggie bags" home. Good stuff...

Our guests enjoyed Mahalo Cove. It's not worth driving a long distance, or anything like that, but if you're in the neighborhood it's got good food and it's a fun place to hang out.

There's a new place in Ashburn that a lot of my neighbors have been raving about - Ford's Fish Shack. It's by the Ice House, in the strip behind the Shell - in the corner spot that used to be Village Grill (and before that, Beef O'Brady's). Their menu doesn't seem to be online yet but some of the dishes people have liked include lobster roll, crabcakes, fried lobster, pecan crusted trout, mussels with chorizo, clams, cod, calamari, blueberry pie. The prices have been reported as reasonable (but not cheap).

Have you had a chance to try them yet? I noticed that they opened out of nowhere like a week or two ago, but it sounds like a fun restaurant. We're hoping to give them a try soon, so I can follow-up on how it is if no one else has tried it yet.

No, I haven't been. I don't eat fish or other seafood (except shrimp) and my husband doesn't eat any food from water. I'm sure they probably have a chicken or steak dish, but I don't get to go out much and I've got a lot of other places I'd like to try first.
