Our family is planning to meet up at Lake Loramie State Park for a picnic this Sunday (Mother's Day). Everyone will be driving 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get there, but it is pretty centrally located to the group. We will be fine if the weather is OK, but what options do we have for back-up if it is cool and especially if it is rainy. There are 6 adults and 1 little guy who is 2 yrs old. With it being Mother's Day, we don't really want to go into a restaurant and then just sit and visit when we are done eating, but we don't want to drive 2 hours, eat, and then just drive back home.

Does anyone have any suggestion for back-up plans of places that wouldn't mind a group just relaxing and visiting for a good share of the afternoon if the weather doesn't cooperate?

We don't mind if there are other things that we can do there, but we want to be able to just relax and talk, too.

Thanks.
