When crews arrived at Cowboy Junction, they saw heavy smoke and flames showing through the roof in the back side where the restaurant used to be. Officials say the fire originated in the kitchen. They have no idea what started it. They first tried to fight the flames from the inside but nothing was working. Crews say their biggest problem was the construction of the building.

"Everything is rustic, it's all framed out of wood and we just didn't have the water or the manpower to stop it," Wofford says.
A massive fire destroys more than half the buildings of a church complex in Vinita

Good restaurant, good church......my condolences to the members there, and I hope you rebuild. You don't often get a church that has a roping competition right after services followed by a good steak dinner. Cowboy Junction Church is located just outside of Vinita.
