Arrowhead is now the infamous "Narcanon" drug treatment center. Last time I tried to drive up to the Fountainhead lodge the pipe gates were locked and grass/weeds were growing up through the cracks in the pavement.

I see no one mentioned Ponca City. I briefly drove through it one time and what I saw was a neat, clean town...and of course the Pioneer Woman statue was really nice. I liked the part of town I saw. Bartlesville is equally as beautiful, as is the Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City.

I think it is stranger than strange to see what appears to be an official Oklahoma Parks website listing Arrowhead and Fountainhead as active recreation sites.
List of parks located in Oklahoma, an important part of America's Parks

A member of the forum recently listed Ponca City as a place where he may move his family if a hoped for job opportunity materializes.

In Ponca City, I guess you didn't drive by the run down houses not far from the Conoco plant.

Hey, my mom lives on that street! You say "run down houses" like its a bad thing! She just put $1,200 worth of house decor from Hobby Lobby and Sam's Club, and had her tires on the doublewide retreaded!

Is there any town or city, anywhere, where every domicile is bright and shiny? Can any town pass the test of not having a run down area where everything is pristine? Perhaps such places exist, but where are they?

This morning I emailed OK Senator Earl Garrison to inquire about Arrowhead and Fountainhead still being listed on Oklahoma Parks websites as if they are open and ready for business. Received an answer from his assistant that she has sent my request to the tourism department and will find out, so perhaps the information will be forthcoming before long.
