My friend said don't move to Garbage Grove. Where would an ideal place for somone without a car be? Like close to a farmer's market and some groceries. I have a nice domain name and business plan (the reason I want to move there). Plus the unemployment rate is lower than San Diego where I live no. Are there medical marijuan.a shops?nje

Without a car? Maybe Long Beach. OC is not the place for the car-less.

Fortunately I'm use to life in the IE and have worked in OC a lot before, I own oc***.com (ten year old brandable), my resume makes me a commodity to the IT industry. If I move I will get a job. I will not get a job here in SD...I've tried for the last two and a half years. 3 months on a salary paycheck == car.

OC isn't the place for mj dispensaries. LB maybe. LB has farmers markets and better public transport than any comparable OC city, and is on the border of OC. I'd say LB.

Lots of public transportation usually means high population density which might means lot of low income people.

You've written two sentences about what you want and seven irrelevant sentences about your business.

You've got to give us more to work with besides your desire to smoke pot and buy food.

What is your budget for housing budget?

My real concerns are what bhcompy said - farmers markets and some public trans. Medical MJ is everywhere, check WeedMaps.com, they've got delivery services. I'm used to the cops in IE I imagine they are just as conservative if not moreso in OC. You can adapt to not having a car, I have. I'm really close to getting one, and a job, back in school, and my own business in OC. It's a fresh new start in Orange..fresh squeezed lol. So LB huh? How's crime there? I won't be without a car for long, I predict that I'll have a car rather quickly, or a business partner that gets paid some of the profits to play driver . Sadly, I wasted two years in San Diego trying to get a tech career, high population density here and every joe shmoe has a scion with vinyl decals (Joe Shmoe's Tech Service). I did, however, buy a nice 5 letter ten year old dot-com starting with oc* that is going to be my business gem Just looking on OC Craigslist's computer jobs section, looks like my days of unemployment are going to be over shortly.
