Interesting situation & story! Do you guys consider this cop to be a "good guy or a bad guy"?

A very bad guy with some legitimate gripes.

But, also I am also thinking how many times I've seen movies with a similar plot. - Where the bad guy is really the good guy, and is being set up by a corrupt administration...

Can there be any question? Does a good guy kill the other guy's children just to get back at the other guy?

Does a good guy run around killing people because he lost his job?

This guy is sick and evil. It is amazing anyone can even suggest that serial murder is justified.

Agreed. Sadly there are now Facebook pages popping up showing their support, painting him as some kind of antihero. Not sure how anyone can ask if he's a good guy or bad guy.

Regardless of how unfair life is, or how corrupt the people around you are, you don't kill innocent people.
He may have had some stories to tell, and it's possible he could have been a big time whistle blower. However, in the end, he's a murderer plain and simple.

The only legitimate gripes are in his mind. He was a bad guy who was fired for cause. His record was that he was trouble his entire time on the force, couldn't get along with any of his boss' or co-workers. A trouble maker who finally got what was coming to him. His military career was the same, trouble and incompatibility.
Don't take the side of a crazy killer, he has no redeeming qualities.

Who said I was taking the side of a killer? Jeez.

I hope he is caught. Soon. The way I see it ending is that he will off himself when he has no way out. He will not allow himself to be captured or killed by the police.

By all accounts his military record shows no hint of being a trouble maker.

Everyone knows that the LAPD has some "issues". He has some legitimate points that will need to be addressed. There are bad cops out there.

It looks as if those records are being released. 10News - U.S. Navy releases records of triple shooting suspect Christopher Dorner - 10News.com - Team 10 Investigates

I hope they get a settlement so large their great grand children don't have to work. Those cops attempted to execute innocent citizens. Imagine how outraged the cops would be if people just started shooting at them on sight as a defensive measure.

Moderator cut: Cleaned up language. Let's keep it civil

LAPD will buy them a new truck as a goodwill gesture. What a deal!
