I saw her get her picture taken in front of the tree. Then I snapped a pic of the lake without anyone in it, then took the one of the people taking pictures.

Wow! That's crazy... in the 10 years I lived in OC, the only snow I ever saw was a little on top of Saddleback maybe 4 or 5 times. Although I do recall back in December of 1990 when there was a serious cold snap seeing snow flurries at South Coast Plaza.

It would have been in 1954 or '55 while living in Newport Beach that we had about an hour of a very light snow fall. Naturally nothing stuck but it was fun while it lasted.

Thank you. That photo is so good, I could see a home developer using it in their brochure somewhere in South County where a tiny bit of land remains, and they can shoehorn in 20+ homes within a 30 minute drive of the lake at Mission Viejo.

SoCal is getting lots of inside slider systems this rainy season. Some spots may come in with more precip than areas of NorCal.
