I think you may need to rephrase the above question. Try "From what part of the U.S are you people posting on this site." Though rare, I've seen posting even from Canada. Offering a personal opinion, it seems people from all over the U.S. heard of the paradise call O.C. It is especially true with the people living in the c-o-l-d-er parts of the U.S.

Bob - I loved this poll as I have always been amazed at least with the negative post regarding Orange County when posters don't live here. So seeing that posters outside the area are higher is a little sad for me. Of course except for those who like the area and post positive stuff. We have enough negativity in this world, right!

I am from South County and love it!

I'm not currently living in Orange County, but I have spent the majority of my life between Placentia, Fullerton, Anaheim and Yorba Linda.

A lot of people come here to find out truthful information about an area they may want to move to.

Just because some posters don't live here now doesn't mean they haven't lived here. I think those people have very valuable opinions for prospective OC residents. After all, there is a reason they have moved away. The number of people that only want to hear positive stuff on a relocation board amazes me. Go to some of the other boards on this site. Racism, housing costs, unfriendly people, crime, etc... is what a lot people want to know about before moving to a new area.

I think they secretly want to live here, but since they cannot, they feel bashing it is the best way to solve the problem. Anyway, OC is California's paradise. Glad to see you made that connection too.
