I wonder if there are any scholarships for poor white males.

Nobody actually knows what Trump said but it doesn't even matter. It was a private convo, not a public address, and the only one who should be embarrassed is whoever is running off to the press says "ohhhhh mooooooooom. Trump said a bad word!" .... as if they haven't. As if every politician doesn't.

ANYWAY, he isn't saying anything about the people and no, he's not saying he only wants Norwegians or white people and hates brown and black people. Or whatever the latest "let's be outraged" mantra is right now.

I don't care what Bill Gates does with his money, it doesn't effect DACA.

There is plenty of state and federal funding for students--of any race--if they qualify for Title I.

He made those comments in a meeting in the Oval Office with members of Congress, not during a private conversation.

He made the ALLEGED comments in a PRIVATE meeting with six senators.

a) Why did a Democrat feel the need to reveal remarks from a private meeting
b) Did he object when the alleged comment was made
c) They are s-hole countries, although "dysfunctional" would have been politer.
d) Immigration should enhance the U.S. That is the sole reason for it.

It was reported by two sources and Durbin but there is a separate thread for this discussion, don't you think it would be better to create your post in the appropriate thread?

I didn't "create" the comment I responded to.

I don't believe a THING a Democrat senator says given their track record on saying anything to further their ends.

Alleged? Private?

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan
The Wisconsin Republican said President Trump's vulgar slur about Africa was "very unfortunate, unhelpful," according to the Associated Press.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) said Friday that his fellow South Carolina Sen. Lindsay Graham (R), who attended a bipartisan meeting with President Trump and lawmakers Thursday, confirmed a Washington Post account of Trump's remarks calling Haiti, El Salvador and some African nations "****hole countries."

Scott, the Senate's lone black Republican, told The Post and Courier on Friday that Graham confirmed the newspaper's account of the conversation, which Scott said he found "incredibly disappointing."
