You are better off looking int he inland empire, most of the reservation lands and casinos near Orange County are there. I do nto know of any in Orange County. The largest concentrations of Indians I know of in the area are on an d around the reservation lands and casinos. Are you looking for any particular tribe? I used to know some of the San Manuel Indians pretty well, if I can find contact information I can ask them for the best location for you depending on your tribe.

Do you mean Native Americans or South Asian Indians?

I take it you are talking about South Asians, and if so I recommend Irvine. It has a broad Asian demographic, mostly skewed towards East Asians, but there is definitely an appreciable South Asian population.

Of course it doesn't mean they don't exist, but I haven't heard of any apartment complexes in South County where Indians predominate. They seem to be scattered around in different neighborhoods. Would you be willing to live someplace like nearby Lake Forest, and still avail yourself of the opportunity to get together with Asian Indians who live in Irvine?

There are a lot of Indians in the Buena Park/La Palma/Cypress area in North O.C., which are all near Little India located in Artesia. I went to John F. Kennedy High School, in the city of La Palma, and my school was 10% Indian. I can't say an exact apartment complex, as my friends were scattered in various throughout those cities. In Buena Park you will find both a Jain (off of Commonwealth) and Sikh temple (off of Orangethorpe). Nearby in Artesia there is a Hindu one. I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but a lot of my Indian friends tended to be either from Gujarat or Punjab (though I did know two from Tamil Nadu).

Not sure if you are religious, but maybe you can reach out to the temples and ask them for advice as to good places to live:

Sikh Temple in Buena Park: Buenapark Gurdwara

Jain Temple in Buena Park: Jain Center Of Southern California :: Live and Let Live

Hindu Temple in Artesia: Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Los Angeles

More on Little India (located near Cerritos and North OC, where you'll find a diverse pan-Asian community, similar to Irvine, but not as costly): Neighborhood Guide: Artesia

Hope those help!

the Methodist Church in Orange has a Gujarati Indian congregation. They may be able to make some suggestions if you visit them
